I’d like to invite you to register for my next Facebook workshop for small businesses. This workshop will be very different from the other Facebook workshops that I have done in the past. Normally, I show small businesses how to setup their Facebook pages, but this time, we are going to dive deeper–and “Make Your Business Stronger!” We’re going to get Your Facebook Business Page fit and healthy!
Now, this is a WORK-SHOP, so we are going to do a lot of work!
During this workshop you will learn:
> Content posting – how to post, what you should be posting and where to find great content for your business
> Uploading – photos and videos
> Boosting – why you should be boosting your posts. (I know a lot of people will tell you it is a waste of money to boost posts, but I’m going to tell you why I recommend you boost and I’ll show you some things you can do with it.)
> How to get people to like your page
> How to get people to call you directly from your page
> How to get people to book appointments directly from your page
> How to create events
> How to blog from your page
> How to get Facebook to suggest your page to people who are interested in what you offer
Some of the things I’d like you to bring with you include:
> Your Facebook email address and password (and yes, you must have a Facebook Business Page to attend)
> Know your email address password just in case you need to get in it
> A laptop
> Your mobile phone
> Photos of your products and/or your services (this of course, is optional)
> A spreadsheet of your customers or prospective customers email addresses only
> And if you want to actually boost a post right in class, you’ll need to link either a credit card or PayPal account to your Facebook Page (Boosts can cost as little as $5)
Whew! I think that’s enough! Now, go ahead and click on the registration button in this email–and I’ll see you on July 25th!
*Note: One-On-One sessions are $129 per person. Save $30 now by registering for this Group training! Only 12 seats available.
Facebook Isn’t Twitter (And It Sure Ain’t Instagram)
Hey, people! Please stop posting on Facebook like it’s Twitter or worse yet, Instagram.
More and more I am seeing people posting on their Facebook Business pages as if they were on Twitter or Instagram. Now, I’m not talking about those who have their tweets or Instagram posts sent to their Facebook Business page. That I get (I don’t agree with it 100%, but I get it.) Those I am speaking of are those who are posting using the @mention feature – you will find on Twitter – instead of tagging other businesses on Facebook. I also notice these same people are also going hashtag crazy!
At first, I thought maybe they were mentioning the other businesses using their Twitter handles with the hope people would rush over to Twitter to follow these businesses. But, after I did some research, I noticed that it looks like they began the tagging process with the @businessname, but they didn’t follow through to continue tagging. How do I know this? Because, when I put the @businessesnames in a post, Facebook actually prompts me to tag the businesses that are being referenced.
Are you confused yet? Well, you are not alone.
